Goal of the PartnerGrid project is the development of a software platform that is specifically fitted on industrial user demands. A Grid-Technology constituted cooperation platform will be developed that efficiently supports cross-company collaboration in a virtual organisation for cooperation processes.

VIGI

Advances in casting process and cast alloy development have led to increasing casting quality and to complex thinner-walled structures for high performance applications. With these developments the complexity of sand cores becomes a limiting factor for product quality and productivity. Five partners have joined together to develop a virtual core simulation tool.

Superior goal of this joint project is the development of parallel computing technology, which uses the full capacity of multi-core architecture possibilities.

LEA

Goal of the LEA joint project is the development of virtual tools for a consistent exploitation of lightweight design capability of ADI components. These virtual tools will adjust the ADI material properties, propose an appropriate process structuring, and predict the operating behavior.

MABIFF

Key to a sustained development process for castings is the integration of production and operation simulation. The effect of the production process on the operational properties of a component can be considered while the early stages of the CAE integrated development processes.
