Our team at MAGMA can carry out a casting analysis in which information about isolated hot spots, potential shrinkage problems, residual stress/distortion, mechanical properties, and solidification times along with other results can be used to assist in generating a quote. This useful information can also be used to gain a better perspective on possible gating layouts, the number of cavities per tool and to open discussions with the customer on design modifications.
