Casting quality of non-ferrous permanent mold and low pressure die cast components is determined through their design, the processing conditions and the casting practice. The MAGMASOFT® modules MAGMAlpdc and MAGMAwheel allow the comprehensive process simulation of the low pressure die casting process. MAGMAtilt enables the user to predict the mold filling sequence for tilt castings. Additionally, MAGMArotacaster takes into consideration the active feeding during solidification. With these modules the most decisive process steps and conditions are taken into consideration to determine casting quality.
