The efficient design of the high pressure die casting process requires a systematic approach. In addition to the achievement of defined technical or economic objectives, it has become increasingly important to define a robust manufacturing process. In this context, it is advisable to use casting process simulation as a virtual test field.
This seminar provides concrete application knowledge for designing high pressure die casting tooling up to achieving a robust process. Accordingly, you will discuss the possibilities of casting process simulation as well as the methods of virtual design of experiments and autonomous optimization to support the individual planning and design steps for series production.
Intended audience: Tooling designers and tool makers, die casters, process planners, technologists, product designers, quality managers and technical purchase managers.
