For our head office in Aachen, Germany, we are looking for a

Software Developer - Geometric Algorithms (f/m/x)

Are you enthusiastic about geometric modeling and enjoy spatial thinking? Perfect! A central component of our simulations is the division of the simulation area into a geometric mesh structure. The challenge is to mesh components in such a way that the response time and accuracy of the simulation are economical.

Your tasks:

• Further development of our geometric algorithms for mesh generation
• Analysis of runtime behavior and scalability of the algorithms
• Carrying out requirements analyses for new developments of our numerical solvers (CFD, FEM)

What you bring to the team:

• Experience in developing algorithms for the generation of unstructured volume meshes or very good knowledge of geometric algorithms
• Good knowledge of the C++ programming language
• Knowledge of numerics or graphic programmingis an advantage
• Knowledge of software design and object-oriented modeling
