The issue does only occur in MAGMASOFT® version 5.5.1.2 and later if the file “magmasoft.log”, which is usually also stored in the same folder $HOME\MAGMAprojects\, is exceeding the size of 20MB.
In the meantime or in the eventuality of a delayed update of MAGMASOFT®, please make sure to regularly check the size of the "magmasoft.log" file on your hard disk and delete it before the file size reaches 20MB. Please note that MAGMASOFT® must be closed in order to delete the file.
The "MAGMASOFT® Patch 5.5.1.5 Notes" summarize all improvements and bug fixes contained in the new version. Please download the "MAGMASOFT® Patch 5.5.1.5 Notes" together with the MAGMASOFT® version.

Installation instructions as well as the general Release Notes of MAGMASOFT® 5.5 are still valid. A direct access to these documents is located in the software download area of the website.
If you already use the option to download MAGMASOFT®, please login to the website and download the new version 5.5.1.5. If you previously received the installation media as a parcel and you would like to download MAGMASOFT®, we can activate the web download for you on request.
Alternatively, we can send the version 5.5.1.5 as a DVD. Please use the contact data below to order your installation package.
We would like to draw your attention that version 5.5.1.5 will be installed as a separate version. If you have not yet updated to MAGMASOFT® 5.5, you can directly use this version.
