MAGMASOFT® 6.0 – Simulation Made Easy
MAGMASOFT® users play a critical role in the production of high-quality cast components. Streamlined, More Intuitive – Simply Easier!
MAGMASOFT® has been continuously further developed over the last 35 years to create a more powerful tool. While the new functionalities have helped to improve performance, they have also made the user interface more complex.
The entire user interaction in MAGMASOFT® 6.0 has been redesigned. The goal was to provide the appropriate function when the user needs it and where he expects it. Especially in the Geometry, Mesh and Result Perspectives, new toolbars, simplified and grouped by function, support users even more effectively in their daily use. The reduced number of menus gives users immediate access to the most important functions. As a result, using the perspectives is clearer and users can focus on carrying out their essential steps. A personal and perspective-dependent favorites menu also allows users to save relevant functions for direct access. New keyboard shortcuts shorten input time and further simplify work.
A new interactive 3D coordinate system allows users to rotate and orient geometries in an intuitive way. Views and settings relevant to multiple perspectives are centrally controlled in MAGMASOFT® 6.0.
MAGMASOFT® users also benefit from up to 80 % shorter project loading times. This helps them to switch more quickly between individual projects or project versions.
Visualize Results Faster – And Work With Them More Easily
With the new continuous color scale and the new X-ray display, MAGMASOFT® 6.0 enables an even more realistic and precise evaluation of simulation results. In addition, the values of the scale can be adjusted either directly or interactively with the mouse wheel.
Evaluating results is one of the most important steps in casting process simulation. With MAGMASOFT® 6.0, users analyze and communicate their simulation results even faster. Both the overall visualization performance of the Result Perspective and the performance in the 'Multi View' have been improved. Users benefit from up to 10 times faster and smoother result evaluation.
With the integration of MAGMAinteract® in the Project Perspective and in the Assessment Perspective, users comfortably visualize intermediate results and geometrical variations.
