Successfully working with MAGMASOFT^® requires well-trained users. The MAGMAacademy provides comprehensive trainings and workshops to enable you to make the most of the capabilities of casting process simulation. With a hands-on approach, our experts show you how to reliably and efficiently use MAGMASOFT^® in your company for optimally designing every component. As usual, you can find the MAGMAacademy’s proven training offerings and workshops for the various alloys and processes in our online event calendar.

In our seminars and forums, we provide decision-makers and experts with the knowledge required to reliably evaluate simulation results and support the collaboration across different departments. This enables them to introduce the right measures for quality assurance and cost optimization. Use MAGMA’s know-how to optimally lay out both your castings and your casting processes.

FORUM “Casting, Process and Economical Optimization Through Efficient Die Temperature Control”

November 14-15 in Vienna, Austria

This two-day forum, organized by MAGMAacademy in collaboration with voestalpine High Performance Metals, focuses on the virtual layout and optimization of innovative temperature control systems for die-casting tools. Engineering efficiency, agility, and robustness into these systems are key to achieving cost-effective casting quality with the lowest possible CO₂ footprint.

The forum will provide a platform for lively discussions where participants can jointly investigate how to develop and verify the mold temperature control system design in parallel with part design using casting process simulation. Share experiences, discuss possibilities, and gain detailed insights into innovative die temperature control – from early-stage layout to data-driven process control in serial production. SEMINAR “Evaluation of Simulation Results”

November 27/28, 2024, MAGMAacademy, Aachen, Germany

In this seminar, you will learn about the different simulation results. The range of available (quality) criteria in MAGMASOFT^® is wide, especially in high pressure die casting/sand mold casting. Based on practically relevant examples, we show you how to analyze the results and make effective use of them in your company. Learn how to interpret simulation results, evaluate the associated properties, and, finally, successfully and effectively put these findings into practice in your company. The next seminar will take place in March 2025 for sand casting or hpdc.
