Aachen/Brescia, April 2010. „NADIA” stands for “New Automotive components Designed for and manufactured by Intelligent processing of light Alloys”. The project was supported by the European Union with 7.2 million Euros and involved the participation of 24 industrial and university partners in the period 2006-2010. Participants in the project included, among others, the University of Padua, University of Trondheim, Jönköping University, Foundry Institute RWTH Aachen, the Scandinavian research organization SINTEF, INGUS AB, Centro Ricerche Fiat, Ford Forschungszentrum Aachen, Daimler AG and Teksid Aluminium. The coordinator of the NADIA project was MAGMA’s partner in Italy, EnginSoft S.p.a.
