16 young people decided to take part in this year's Girls' and Boys' Day on 28^th March 2019 at MAGMA GmbH in Aachen - an absolute record!

In order to give the girls and boys interesting insights into the foundry's world, they first visited the neighbouring Foundry Institute of the RWTH Aachen University in the morning, where, after a guided tour of the institute, they did practical work: they made a sand mould with the imprint of their own finger and then an aluminum casting was cast! 

After a tasty lunch they continued with a company tour at MAGMA GmbH, followed by a mini-training for an introduction to simulation technology, practical metal and 3D experiments as well as playing at the "Foundrymen's Playground". 

All participants turned out to be very enthusiastic and interested - MAGMA thanks you very much for your visit!
